  • Worst worst:

Wonder Woman 1984 was sooo so bad. I tried 3 times to watch it, but it just didn't get any better.

    Best worst:

Zardoz is objectively terrible, but it does it in a way that I nevertheless really enjoy.

  • Good on you OP, sharing the generation parameters. When I saw the title and image, I tried to guess what settings you'd used. I got pretty damned close, but missed just a couple of settings.

  • This is the way. If you just need B&W, a decent $200 laser printer will last forever on one cartridge. I've had my Brother printer for 10 years or so and only replaced the toner twice.

  • Sure...if by "normally", we mean that I will block or filter those communities as soon as I see them.

Not out of any malice or resentment. I just don't want to see communities where I won't be able to even read the titles, nor participate in comments.

  • I've gotten some from Newegg that were only wrapped in bubble wrap.

You got the VIP treatment! I swore off NewEgg for 20 years because they packed 1200 CD-RWs poorly, which caused the product to be mostly ruined by jostling around in the box. They wanted me to pay return shipping or no refund at all for the useless product.

Good to hear they haven't changed the shipping department.

  • And Larry Nassar is also unknown?

I just mention that one because his was a particularly egregious case. Do you need me to find for you some other well-publicized examples of physicians assaulting people?

People in positions of authority have abused their power for countless generations. It's perfectly normal for people to be suspicious of authority figures.

I'm not suspicious of medical science. I'm suspicious of individual humans, who by and large I do not trust for the above reasons.

  • NextDNS seems cool but it looks like it is for-profit and proprietary software, which is a deal breaker for me. Even if their "free" tier were good for me, for now, the price and my privacy would always be subject to the whims of a company who is going to be trying to get money from me. Fuck that.
