  • I have read my favorite series only three times. I cracked the seal (figuratively) during a low point caused by the pandemic, among other things.

So glad I saved it. Now I probably wont wait another 20 years to read it again, but I'm glad I kept it fresh for myself.

  • A cross-platform status monitor for gamers to be able to tell what games their friends on other platforms are playing. PlayStation, XBox, PC, etc.

I looked into it and decided that it probably isnt really feasible because each vendor intentionally blocks this kind of thing. It would also be a nightmare to maintain, I am sure.

  • Interesting. From my perspective, asking me to do it is commissioning an artist. Its just using a different toolset. I make lots of art using AI. Never made very many Yiffy before, but I could figure it out quickly. All AI does is change the workflow I have to use to produce art.

edit: Your downvotes have inspired me to use AI to make G-rated furry art. Thanks, Lemmy!

  • Respect. Knowing what it takes to do all that... this is clearly a labor of love. I messed with SegmentAnything and never got any useful results. Guess I need to give it another shot.

  • Yes. Very possible. An LLM could possibly be run locally or just sandboxed for only you. In my experience, I guess because there is less training data and fewer iterations, it tends to take longer and result in poorer outputs.

Microsoft could also let you control this but of course they do not want to.

I switched to Openboard. After a few months, Its not as good yet as SwiftKey was, but it's also not sending all my text input to Microsoft.

The primary feature I miss from Swiftkey is the ability to insert a gif easily.
