"trump supporters" are not a monobloc. And different people value different information in different ways, for their own reasons. We need to peel off as many trump voters as possible. Discouraging statements like "trump supporters do not care about this" help to get trump elected. If you want fascism, u/nutsack, that's how we get fascism.
I'm just reading the article, as you were also able to do, and it says, "On 8 June, officers were made aware via CCTV of a man, Bray, walking down Queens Road, Nuneaton, with the sword in his hand. Bray approached officers with the blade visible, at which point he was arrested." Bold added for emphasis. If I were out in public in the UK, and if I happened to have a bladed implement, I'd keep it out of sight. Especially if there were police anywhere nearby. But hey, you can do as you please. Have a nice day!
Not for simply having, but for brandishing said bladed device as the police approached. That's the law, in that city. As the officer said, “It is possible to find fidget toys that aren’t six-inch blades. It is possible not to walk down the street holding them out in front of you. With a bit more self-awareness, Bray could have avoided contact with us completely.” Bray brought this on himself, and could have avoided any contact with the police. He chose otherwise.
Which, of course, explains why all blind people are thin. And opens a whole new avenue for weight control. We'll make kitchen light switches that only work within certain BMI ranges. /s
Grumpy conservative dislikes Social Justice Workers/Warriors but chipper botanist makes a pun, saying Hypericum (perforatum) a.k.a. St. John's Wort is a good genus. Note: the leaves have tiny holes/ perforations, hence the species.
Ah that explains the Hat Bag/ Bag Hat. For it to work properly one would need to have a dent in one's skull the size of one's cargo. Think of the hat gag from last week, and sneaking a roast chicken into the theater. ;-)
Thornless was also a 'selling point'. Mine were a gift from another gardener. And being raspberries they try to spread beyond their allotted space. So I dig them and put them up on freecycle. It's super popular, and they can spread their DNA in someone else's garden. :-D
The sort of 'military' style to the guy's jacket makes me think you are on to something.
