This is definitely not an unpopular opinion. Except on lemmy maybe... there's some weird ass shit on the NSFW instance. Like I try not to kink shame folks but hot damn is it weird sometimes. I got someone banned for reporting their degrading women/get back in the kitchen rape themed shit I stumbled on. People get way too comfy expressing their technically not illegal fetishes.

Anything that's been damaged past where insurance would pay to have it fixed. Water damaged/flooded vehicles, frame damage etc. Serious damage that was more costly than insurance wanted to deal with.

Lobster probably. Ocean cockroaches have the perfect texture to put flavored butter in your mouth. Particularly love lobster rolls with some nice herbs. Crazy how we like ocean roaches so much we've made them expensive.

I'm amazed the amount of players those game still has. I bought it felt robbed and quit soon after release. Bungie is a shell of a what it once was.

The DNC has shot messaging. They don't promote their wins and barely communicate their platform. They let the Republicans control the narrative constantly. They just need to boil their shit down to some short punchy phrases and repeat it like the Republicans do. Their stances are more popular, they just suck at pushing them.

Well, they shadowban you for just mentioning certain things. Like lemmy.... so I had that happen a few times. The automated mode tools have gotten progressively more aggressive and oppressive over the years.

I just made new accounts constantly on Reddit because they'd ban you for basically nothing from a ton of the major subreddits. Aquire a few bans, nuke account and start over was how I interacted with the platform recently.

I had my original account for years before I got a single ban. I think the moderation teams just got overtaxed and started throwing down the ban hammer for about anything. Plenty of bans just for saying something whoever reviewed it didn't agree with. Have to love enforcing an echo chamber and killing all discussion.

I mentioned lemmy in a comment reply 6 months or so ago, and it very obviously had an effect on my account. Akin to a shadowban but not quiet. I think they've been doing this for a while. It's just public info now...

But you see, stocks and GDP are up. So you're doing better. Walmarts profits are up 50% YOY. Ignore the fact they just decided to cut starting pay in spite of that.
