  • But “Reddit’s never been profitable” lol

  • Medium hair gang

  • It’s a little bit of brain damage to figure it out but once it’s all set up the *arr stuff and Jellyfin makes it pretty painless

  • Depends what you want to do. You can do stremio + real debrid on just about anything but if you want to do your own server I would get a cheap used tower off of eBay that has an intel processor with integrated graphics and throw Ubuntu server on it and drop in a commercial NAS drive for storage like a WD Red. I did that for ~300 and am happy with the results (half of that budget was storage)

  • The config files make it easy to repeat functioning setups and guaranteed software compatibility

  • Someone has to seed though. I don’t know much about seedboxes but it seems like a seed box + plex combo is a solid way to go.

The home server route is way more complicated than rd+stremio for sure, but is still necessary in some contexts. I keep one just for kids content bc there’s no way to separate it out using stremio that I’ve found so far. It’s a bit of a pain to set up but with docker it’s not so bad. Stremio + rd for everything else.

Anything is better than watching fucking ads

  • Few things harder to watch than a person discovering the net they thought existed to catch them isn’t there and never was

  • Sure, and when they can no longer cut it they’re out on their asses. And at least here in amerikkka it’s destination Walmart parking lot, since after all, those people wouldn’t be working unless they absolutely had to

  • Amazon warehouses are full of old people

The truth is they don’t give a shit about you or anyone else. They want us to work until we die. When we’re no longer useful they will throw us into the streets.

  • This cursed goddamn country

Alright, best case scenario— it works. You are one with the AI. It gives you genius capabilities.

End result, brain chips are the new college degree. If you want to work in anything besides retail or fast food you have to have the brain chip to compete. Now Elon Musk, or some other bloodless freak, has a brain chip in every person who is powerful/influential. They can kill you with a push of a button.

Most likely scenario— a whole bunch of people get hurt or die for nothing.

What exactly is the upside here? It’s like fucking bitcoin. At no point does anyone in our government just stop and think these things through. “What if this works?” should be the first thing we ask ourselves

  • I wonder if she has any copies of Setting Fires with Electrical Timers in stock

  • Is it really helpful / does it save a lot of time? I’m the worlds #1 LLM hater (don’t trust it and think it’s lazy) but if it’s a very good tool I might have to come around
