I love these annual factoid updates. Deep Rock Galactic is one of my most played games on steam, but I've taken almost the entirety of the season off. Hopefully I'll be back next season.
Did this ever get updated? It was glitchy and inconsistent on iOS. I love the idea of a Three Kingdoms experience for Reigns, but it was not well done when it was first released.
Have you seen Ukraine? Putin is the sort of guy that claims to be a chess master while forgetting how the horsies move and knocks over the board on accident when he gets pummeled as a result.
Hot jam, that's some good lawyering. Basically you can't appeal your case until you're convicted of something, unless it's otherwise specifically protected by law.
Nothing Trump is claiming immunity for is specifically protected by law, so he can only appeal after he receives judgment.
Which makes sense.
The supreme court decided this unanimously in 1989 and could actually prevent any form of appeal until judgment.
He's literally the best president we've had in the past 40 years. I'm sorry you don't like him, but he's taken a deeply divided nation and managed to push through some of the most progressive reforms in my lifetime.
He's done far more with far less than any President in my lifetime. You may have to go back to Lincoln before you find a similar political landscape.
All the major union successes are possible because of his support. The funding for green initiatives in the US is literally the largest that's ever pushed through anywhere.
He took control of the most mismanaged government in history at the height of a pandemic against a split Congress that would as soon spit in his face rather than give him a win. The supreme court is obviously partisan and eager to undo everything he's accomplishing, but somehow he keeps making progress.
Yeah, he's done some really stupid stuff, especially his support of Israel in the face of Palestinian genocide. He's not perfect and I want him held accountable for that stuff as well.
That said, I genuinely think history will look very kindly upon him, should our country not completely self-destruct. He has managed one of the most challenging climates a president can face and has pulled off genuinely historic wins. He's a consummate politician in the best way possible.
I'm not 100% sure, but I think that's relative time. If he's caught on its gravitational well, I think he'd just fall in real time from his perspective.
Serious question, who here actually tries to create such paranoia in their players? It's probably one of the biggest reoccurring memes around here and I don't entirely get it.
Is this the tone some people are actually trying to create and if so, why?
It could just be I have a very narrow group of people I've played with, but this doesn't necessarily seem a tone I'd be striving for.
This joke seems to imply that mostly women are feminists. As a man who is also a staunch feminist, the joke really didn't land for me.
