Thanks to Pacman and the AUR there is an extensive list of apps to install very easily.And you don't have to keep the build dependencies on your system, so you have more disk space.
If you want something that really looks like Windows (GUI) out of the box, I'd recommend looking at Zorin OS.It's based on ubuntu and is easy to use.https://zorinos.com
People who have switched from vanilla GNOME to KDE Plasma: did you try to emulate GNOME's workflow on Plasma?
Top bar, titlebar buttons on the left, "dock" on the right (which is just a panel), hotcorner, ...I don't really try to replicate GNOME but rather take what improves my flow from Windows, GNOME, Unity, MacOS, ...But that's the wonderful thing about KDE : you can choose to customize whatever you like however you feel !
