Decimeters are almost always superior to cm. Like in this case, dots per decimeter is basically "If you drag your mouse across your mousepad, how many ticks did it record."
I think you're confused, when you say "value", you seem to mean progressing humanity forward. This is fundamentally flawed, you see, "value" actually refers to yacht money for billionaires. I can see why you would be confused.
They resigned from a job they believed was wrong, which will lead to substantial financial consequences for them. You tried to dismiss their efforts as if it was nothing, so I called you out for being dismissive. You say "Seriously, what's your point?" As if I'm the one making provocative statements from the sidelines.
I never said they were fired, but since you brought it up, when you're fired, you'll usually get a severance to help during the job search, they won't, they're just unemployed.
They're unemployed government workers, there are less government jobs now than ever, and their resume literally says DOGE on it. They are taking a risk.
When I was in undergrad and asked "Why are we doing this?", if the answer was "I have absolutely no idea and neither does anyone else I've asked", then my response was always "FUCK YEAH LET'S DO THIS!"
"This version does not represent the final state of the game" Ubisoft insists as if devs will miraculously fix everything players discover in a single month. Sometimes it takes me a month to get my coworkers to give my merge requests a first look.
It drops the graphics to their recommended settings, but you're free to crank them back up to anything you want. No, it doesn't check in any way. I have no idea why you would do this, it basically only means anyone who doesn't check Proton DB for config advice will think the game is half broken.
CAN being the critical word here. If you use tools like pydantic, then yes, typing can be strictly enforced, or as most people use it, you can type only what you want to type.
Python 3.11 onwards can basically be a fully statically typed language, which is a pretty dramatic change in where you spend most of your time. Python 3.13 allows you to do multi threading as a compiler option, we might see native multi threading in 3.14 or 3.15 (or maybe that's a 4.0-worthy feature honestly)
I was to see a chart of how much of that is L, G, B, T, and Q broken down over time. Definitely would have been mostly G at the start, now T seems to be growing the fastest. We've honestly made a ton of progress, gay marriage is so normalized it's not even a maga talking point.
Now that we've got the serious stuff out of the way...being left handed obviously makes you gay.
It's probably a vanishingly small population that actually believes the US should absorb Canada. The problem is there's a substantial population that will just support anything Trump says without critical thought, and Trump will repeat anything Putin tells him to without critical thought.
The knight can buck its rider off, causing it to capture an opponent 2 spaces away along any file, but the horse is out of play, leaving a pawn at the original position as the displaced rider. Since the king has experience in battle against horses, it is ineffective against them for capturing, but you can still demote to a pawn.
