  • Anyone who calls themselves a Centrist in 2023 is saying they're Republicans except they're pussies and don't want to be directly associated with a fascist group. Idk what's worse, psychos that are proud of being fascist or cowards that don't want to admit it.

  • The same can be said for Windows but instead of breaking with wonky updates, it breaks because of constant bloatware that creeps in to a computer to slow it down to the point of being unusable.

Everything has flaws so people have to adapt to those flaws or use something else. OP was complaining about the search bar being there, so since they don't like it, they should go somewhere else. If they're not going to do that, then adapt. Whining to a community that has a lot of Linux users is just asking for " just use Linux " comments.

  • You think I check for dependencies when I update? I just click a button that says update on my Nobara distro. Idk what you think Linux users do that is so much more difficult than Windows. All of my apps except for Tresorit was a click to download. This is easier than Windows's "search for website, click download, run .setup, get the program".

  • Pretty good.

    Pros:

    • Easy install (Windows/Linux) I haven't tried Mac.
    • Sharing files can be very customizable. For example, your share link can have a password, expiration date, and open limit.
    • It seems as secure as you can get with proprietary software.
    • I use it as a syncing tool for apps like Obsidian. There are different sync methods like , save the last 5 versions or place all versions in a folder to delete later (don't quote me on this).
    • You can sync photos on your phone into Tresorit. (It has to be working in the background)
    • It also has a very convenient scanner that surpasses Google's scanning.
    • Customer service is great if you ever need it

    Cons:

    • A bit expensive relative to competitors

Ultimately you're paying premium for a premium experience imo. You should consider Tresorit if you're lazy like me xD

There's also an email feature that makes emails more secure and a digital signature that they offer. I don't use it but it's there.
