However, for some folks, being themselves is the exact opposite thing they should be doing if they want to get out of that rut. Some people really do just need to change who they are.
Well, yeah, for sure. But, unlike chemical pollution and water misuse, the food is actually something the overall population can do something about on individual levels to have an effect. A few folks eating bugs won't do much, but millions would. Whereas with pollution, companies produce millions of persons' worth of pollution every year, some more. A private jet produces more pollution in one trip than my entire family does in a whole year. There's nothing I or anybody else can do to offset that.
Not me, but my little sister was bawling at the end of Undertale.
For me, it's maybe beating Sword Saint Isshin. I think I almost cried in relief, since I'd been hitting my head against that wall for like a week.
I also liked the Dragon Age Inquisition endings, the one DLC with the Qunari and the palace and going threw Elven ruins shattered through space. The song on the mountains when you find the new headquarters was cool too.
I've had baked crickets before, and they were okay. If I ate them more, I might get a palette for them, but I wouldn't personally say that I liked them. But, I'd suck it up for the, you know, sake of the continuation of pleasant life on Earth.
I like to say that I'll try anything once. But, I've sort of sworn off McDonalds for the most part for a few reasons. But, if they did make this sort of jump, I might try to encourage it with my buck.
I think we should go harder into mycoculture and Insectivory. We can grow mushrooms or other fungus on our plant waste like wood, paper, and food scraps. We can also feed soldier flies, grubs, ants, termites or grasshoppers on farm and food waste.
Insects and fungi are also WAY more efficient than mammals like cows, or reptiles like birds. And they can both use waste material from agriculture without using up resources that we ourselves could use for ourselves. Fungi can be grown in the pitch black, so that reduces energy consumption. Many insects can be grown in far denser populations that like cows or chickens, and they don't have nearly the same level of consciousness (that we know of) as cows or other mammals. So, even if we are still killing them, its arguably less unethical.
On top of that, consumption of insects has way lower risk of disease. Salmonella, worms, prions, etc. You can get those and others from mammals and birds, but insects are so different from us that it's a lot safer for the most part. That being said, there might still be some risk we haven't identified yet.

Exactly. Any regular person would be in prison for decades if not forever, a dozen times over, in the time it took for them to get even this far. After they're done, they should also look at all the people that obstructed this long too. They're complicit at the very least.
Yup, you never know what the cause of the discrepancy could be. It seems even the original team could only get it to work 10% of the time anyway, and they were familiar with the process. Even with detailed instructions, another unfamiliar team may not be able to recreate it even that often.
Until they determine what factor is leading to the occasional creation of the product, it's effectively random whether they will create it or not. It could theoretically take 1000 tries to get it to work once. Or 1,000,000 times. But, it will probably take around 10.
That is, of course, if the product they claim to have made is real. If it isn't real, then they'll never get it. And, if they can figure out what exactly is making it or not, then they should be able to adapt the process to near perfect odds.
That's often how it goes. Something doesn't do what you expect, so you have to keep trying new things until you figure out why it wasn't what you expect.
On the topic of instakills, I always mod them out of Fallout 4 and Skyrim, because it's annoying as hell that I can be instakilled from full HP, when it would otherwise take several hits to even endanger me.
Yeah, no worries! It's not like I'm trying to really make a proper tarot card deck after all, as I am no mystic! I used the symbolism of the characters own stories to determine which cards I wanted to use. Some of them were a bit of a challenge of course!
It could also be a big part of why Renalla is so torn up and despondent. It wasn't just Radagon leaving her, but also from a lost child. Double tap.
Considering that the Rune of the Unborn was removed from the Elden Ring BEFORE the Shattering, and that Radagon IS Marika, I suppose it's an option. Perhaps they tried to use the rune to try and save the child, but it didn't work.
I've also heard theories that the wedding was a scheme to weaken Renalla and the Carians the entire time, that Radagon poisoned them from within and then returned as the second Elden Lord to seal the deal. It could be both. Perhaps the Knights of the Cuckoo aren't just a fun name, but a tell of what Radagon did. He replaced Renalla's children and attention towards her own family to an impostor. And it worked. Caria fell, Renalla became a shell of a woman, and the only member left that is doing reasonably okay is Ranni. If you call being a doll and committing heresy and blasphemy okay. If that's fine, than I suppose Rykard's pretty based as well.
While I severely doubt all that, you are right. It's not good to celebrate suffering, even if someone has done so much wrong. That being said, I understand the urge to do so.
I won't feel at all bad if he dies, but I won't be cheering either.
