Don't get me wrong, I'm not anti-piracy by any means, and I'm as bothered by the changing of services as the next person. I just found it amusing that people seemed to disagree that pirating would have an impact on the bottom line of the execs, so that life was imitating art.
This interaction reminds me of an Always Sunny episode. The gang are mad because their favourite movie franchise sold out and got bad, so the whole episode is about them complaining with the movie execs about how the changes made to the movie (to attract different audiences in order to try to make the franchise profitable again) all suck, and what they should be doing differently. But the punchline of the episode is they have all along been streaming the movie series and not paying to watch it, so they are part of the problem.
Never expected to see it played out IRL though, and the fact you're being downvoted makes it all a bit less funny...

Try not to judge the whole community for idiotic posts like these. There are always going to be dumb kids shouting dumb shit wherever you go, sometimes you've just gotta roll your eyes and keep on walking (or scrolling I guess) leaving the folly far behind.
The fact that they're asking for the information in order to compare against for identity verification should tell you that they already have the information.
If you were a fraction as savvy as you seem to think you are, you'd know that deleting your PII from your profile did absolutely nothing in terms of removing it from their systems. Right now you're whingeing about how upset you are about having to give them a phone number... that they already have.
This would only be discussion-worthy if you had actually removed the information and they were demanding it back. You didn't and they're not, they're verifying the information you gave them to prove your identity using industry standard methods. If it wasn't for the fact these are getting posted during school hours I'd assume you're some edgelord teenager...

Usually people educate themselves on a topic before trying to talk about it as if they have a clue.
People are not gonna bother educating someone who won't educate themselves, especially when what is said is so completely incorrect they have no idea where to even begin.
So where I am we don't use blown insulation like this, so please take this with a pinch of salt, but...
I redid 50m^2 of roof insulation in my house to exceed the insulation standards in my area and the cost of all the (very high spec) insulation sheets and materials was just over £3000. I don't know about loose insulation that gets blown like in your picture, but I just wanted to contextualise why I thought the price seemed high.
If it was me, I'd set up a couple of cameras and mouse traps to see if you get anything. If not, add that company to your big book of Bullshit and chalk this down to a good lesson learned. Owning a home can be stressful and expensive enough without scamming dingbats making things more difficult.
If you do end up with mice in the traps, it would be worth getting a quote from another company, juuuust in case.
