  • The trans->hot->$$$ pipeline

  • They’re the same thing. One leads to the other either way.

  • Thank you for putting in the work trying to educate. You’ve got far more patience than I. These links will be sent to a few choice family members.

    🇵🇸✊

  • Get ratio-ed you fascist boot licker. Don’t believe every tweet daddy Donny and auntie Elon put up on Shitter and maybe read a history book that wasn’t published in “the land of the free”.

No freedom until we all are free

    Long live the Intifada 🇵🇸✊

  • Came here to say Roboquest. Replaced Destiny 2 for me when I finally ditched windows for Linux. Though I would love a harder difficulty coop PvE shooter that has similar feel to Destiny. Roboquest has coop but I will always of raiding with my team.

  • 4get.ca

Has been very refreshing to use. It’s a bit slow, and you need to do a captcha periodically because they get hella bot spam. It’s got a clean interface, no sponsored results and other junk, and so far it’s felt like “old google” more than anything else. Plus they have my preferred color scheme as a built in option!

  • Me tooooo!! I literally just stuck my hand out with the note and looked at my feet lol. I like to think that awkwardness further helped diffuse things a bit. Like if someone sort of aggressively handed me a piece of paper while holding strong eye contact I would be waaayyy more creeped out than someone that’s doing it a bit shyly/awkwardly.

  • Wait I love this!! I’ve got lots of local businesses and artists I keep cards for so I can digitize the info later. I try to keep track of who made all the prints on my art wall, which means I have a decent collection of both visually interesting and local cards. Thanks for the suggestion!

  • Agreed!! Tho it’s not quite my speed. I once slipped someone a note with my number on the train because saying that out loud in a crowded public space makes me want to turn inside out. It was cute, they reached out and we went on a sort of date, and settled at friends. I’ve done similar a couple times since and it’s always been positive.

I feel like getting handed a ripped off piece of someone’s bookmark or something with their name and number is very disarming. It gives agency to the person being approached, which I think makes the whole interaction much less weird than you’d think. For a hot sec I thought about making a business card style thing, but I think that makes it weird again. Takes the “meet cute” vibe out of it when you seem over prepared for the occasion.

Worth noting I like to include my age if I do this, as I look quite young for almost 30 (I blame the HRT lol) and I just want people to have that detail before they choose to reach out or not.

Oh also the original post would 1000% work on me.

  • Obligatory, and please please take this as the most silly of jokes: pushes up glasses UUUMMMMM akchually WINE is a compatibility layer, not an emulator, its name literally stands for Wine Is Not an Emulator.

Again, it’s just kind of a running bit in the Wine community. The same thing is right at the top of the projects home page if my memory serves, and it is definitely easier to refer to it as an emulator. “Compatibility layer” just doesn’t have the same ring to it lol

  • I just want you to know I’ve saved this comment and may or may not return when in need of your melon selecting expertise.

  • I was about to say something similar. Like I started wearing some “women’s” underwear and running shorts even before I realized I wasn’t a guy. Obviously for people that aren’t trying to hide things I wouldn’t necessarily recommend it, but some of the underwear I have now is just better than tons men’s underwear I wore pre-transition. Just materials, and seam placement, and color options, all of it. You can still find boxers and everything. It’s kind of just better.

  • I am in the exact same position lol checking off some other games while it matures

  • Unrelated, but we have a near identical feed

  • I use foot, it’s very bare bones, but I’m using zellig to get all the QoL features I could want!

  • Agreed! Great work!! The shadow behind her looking like the other bombs as well as her having horns. Excellent touch.

  • Yeah, I was running it through Tailscale too. I’m definitely closer to a newbie than I am a self hosting vet, so there’s likely some fault of mine that made things not run so well.

  • Yeah I had my eye on this a few months back when I was looking for a FOSS windows Remote Desktop alternative. Between the security issues, and generally struggle to get it working well, I eventually went to a sunshine/moonlight combo for shockingly high performance screen sharing that can even handle basic gaming if need be.

  • I’ve worked on one of these that sails off the coast of New England. It was a passenger boat that would do week long cruises. Long, tough hours, but the view from the office each morning was unbeatable.

  • I took degoogling as an opportunity to review and purge a lot of accounts and actually hold myself to going through the GDPR data removal requests and all that. I refreshed passwords and emails of accounts I actually wanted to keep, and pretty much ditched the rest. If the account never made it into my password manager in the first place it clearly wasn’t very important, so it can bounce around cyberspace forever I guess.
