  • Don’t be a partisan hack.

If the 'Mhm' didn't make it clear, I'm not excusing people from any party. Every single person who clapped should be stripped of power and be given the choice of exile or execution. They're either a Nazi sympathiser or conman. There is no third option. Either they are profoundly uninformed and therefore scamming the Canadian public and should be treated as traitors, or they are willing to clap for Nazis and should be treated as traitors. I appreciate that not everyone is an expert on WWII, but this doesn't require expertise or subject knowledge. This is the most basic and important bit of information for modern geopolitics. It's such a simple thing that I'm baffled to be talking to someone trying to imply there is any possibility that someone would not know and be able to recall at a moment's notice.

  • Yes let everyone, despite everything else going on at the time, pause in the moment to recall the finer points of WW2 geopolitics because everyone obviously has all those facts at the forefront of their mind at all times.

Bruv, bruv, this is the bare minimum, I swear. If you cannot recall that WWII was Nazi Germany vs the Soviet Union, you aren't prepared enough to have opinions on the modern conflict or any aspect of geopolitics. This isn't the finer points.

List of people who clapped: literally everyone.

    Mhm.

  • But don't you know, talking about this is Russian propaganda. Look, listen to Trudeau, he says you shouldn't talk about this and instead fight back against Russian propaganda without missing a beat in the same sentence as he's apologising. https://youtu.be/ApEx_UOwJR8

  • "We have here in the chamber today [a] Ukrainian Canadian world [war] veteran from the second world war who fought [for] the Ukrainian Independence against the Russians and continues to support the troops today even at his age of 98." The Canadian Prime Minister heard this man was a Nazi and then started clapping. I don't understand how much more black and white this could be.

  • Those dirty brown people can't be bothered to look up from the wads of blood money for two seconds to actually care about their peers. The only country that cares about muslims is the one that purposefully killed millions of civilian muslims over the last two decades in an effort to put pressure on their enemies to surrender. Enemies that we're told don't value human life.

  • He's at the bottom end of 'knows just enough to be dangerous', and people make fun of people in that range. The vast majority of gamers and Windows users fall well outside that narrow band. The average Windows user who is scared of the terminal wouldn't ignore several warnings and type in confirmation phrases. They wouldn't have even gotten to that point because to get there you need to copy/paste things from a website without understanding what it does.

  • The CPC represents the people, the other parties represent special interests. The people lead and make concessions to special interests. This is democracy. The alternative is one of the special interests leads and makes concessions to the people and other special interests.

  • Perhaps you haven't heard of the war and only noticed a lot of mentions of Ukraine recently. Actually, that's because there's a war there, that's why people keep bringing up Ukraine or showing their support for Ukraine, alternatively for Russia. The war is about USA imperialism, where the USA wants to do imperialism towards Russia and Russia is stopping them. So that's how those things are related. Ukraine is the battleground, and the USA is using Ukrainian humans as weapons. It's a very horrible situation.

  • Extreme violence is still violence. Industrial violence on a massive scale is still violence. You are advocating for violence, terrible violence, and then getting upset someone else advocated for comparatively mild violence.

  • The problem with the RFA source is the CIA funding, not that it's in English. It's pretty disingenuous to try to imply Newizu is pro-Putin or anti-imperialist, or anti-west or anything else that would qualify as a separate bias or agenda.
