  • Would you consider AntennaPod instead? It has been good for my podcast listening (audio only, no idea actually if it handles video ones).

  • True, generally. Unless DMCA notices force github to taketh away for them... :) youtube-dl and others found out.

  • Fair enough... archive.is and other solutions then to capture their pages before/after changes.

  • Geat idea! There's no reason this couldn't be done everywhere by citizens with access to sticker printing services... I've spotted a few products myself in the past year and wouldn't be against sticking some labels on them to warn my fellow shoppers :)

  • What a bunch of maroons. 99.9% chance someone else mirrored that git repo.

EDIT: And this is yet another reason everyone, everywhere, should immediately mirror any git repo for a project they are even remotely interested in.

github giveth, and github can (and does) taketh away. Say NO to centralized source management platforms -- exactly the antithesis of what git was designed for in the first place!

  • The molecule detected is called dimethyl sulphide (DMS). According to the article, on Earth, at least, this is only produced by life. (The AutoTL:DR bot's summary missed that bit.)

  • For those who haven't seen it: https://www.rawstory.com/tim-gurner-video/

This guy really, really needs to learn what the internet can do to the reputation of those who deserve it.

He literally says the rich class needs to "hurt the economy" on purpose. Economic terrorism.

  • He actually says they (the rich owners) need to "hurt the economy". Economic terrorist.

  • Raymond E. Feist's Magician series was quite engaging, I thought... though I read it many many years ago.

  • The founders of the Proud Boys also had Canadian roots, did they not? Gavin McInnes

  • LineageOS? plus Magisk (yes I have rooted it, so perhaps that allowed an opening somwhere). I will have to watch to see if anything re-appears I suppose.

  • OK, that really makes me suspicious that they're installing Bing via MS Authenticator app as well.. Bing app showed up on my phone and I just noticed it yesterday. Hmmmm.

  • Perhaps I just did something stupid, but I just found Bing and anothernMS app in my Android phone's app list... never explicitly installed those. I do have Authenticator, though (for work). Has MS stooped to piggybacking their crap from others silently now?

  • Oh yes, fruit! I should have included that of course. Some peaches or berries are so good with Muesli.

  • It's great stirred into plain or vanilla yoghurt for breakfast. I think that's in fact the "traditional European" way it's eaten?

Or at least at nearly every Bed & Breakfast in western Canada that tries to be "Victorian" :)
