Lemmy.zip and lemm.ee have been consistently the best so far.

And anyway, the main reason not to use lemmy.world is just that it's the most popular. The whole point of coming to the fediverse is to decentralize so joining LW kinda beats the purpose.

On Reddit too. You'll see alot more of it everywhere as the US hands over global dominance to China and their soft power increases, until it presumably becomes as ubiquitous as american propaganda and you don't notice it anymore

Well tbf, even though it's strictly banned in China there are still some cases of it happening in rural areas.

In general the right left binary is not very accurate for capturing how most average people think of politics. People may be socially conservative on one issue and progressive on another. They might favor left wing economic policies but may not conceptualize it as left wing.

Mexico i would say has a more culturally conservative tradition than the USA does, yet Morena was able to successfully pass all sorts of socially progressive legislation, because they were lowkey about it while rhetorically emphasizing the bread and butter economic issues most
