  • The options at this point are 1: a civil war or 2: surrendering to the fascist regime.

  • I haven't been hyped over a game since Fallout 4, but this is a three-way mix of three things I love and I can barely sit still right now.

  • Owlcat usually delivers. Pathfinder: Kingmaker, Wrath of the Righteous and W40K Rogue Trader have all been hits.

  • At this point I trust in the EU to force Nintendo to play the right-to-repair game.

  • If only a handful get deployed successfully they'll get shot down by missile defenses.

  • I was so naive once too, but I grew out of it.

  • "A few" is the amount that get shot down by missile defense systems in such a scenario

  • Not surprising. Nintendo is turning into the Apple of the video game world.

  • Well on paper using an LLM for customer support seems great. A service agent who is infinitely patient, doesn't mind overlong support sessions, who is always polite? That's sounds great. But real life isn't like that, and the people who do prefer LLMs over people haven't had the time to realize why LLMs aren't up to the task yet. But that might change in a couple years.

  • My dream is a united EU assault on Moscow to dethrone Putin and the Oligarchs and, hopefully, return the nation to a less corrupt state.

  • Yes, with all those old soviet nukes that sre surely still around and not rusting away in old bunkers. I'm sure they fly just fine.

  • Do that, so that when the US Gov. falls SpaceX and Starlink does too.

  • I think it's like the magnetic charge of the thing?

  • The downside: The US government has been overrun by fascists, and the people won't remove them

The upside: These fascists are so utterly incompetent that they'll remove themselves before long.

  • That's just incorrect, 95, 98, XP and 7 were some of the most popular OSs ever.

  • That would imply that, at some point in the future, Epic might not be able to cover their devs through the EGS and have to close it. Which would probably mean you lose access to games on there.

  • I think those old forums dedicated to discussions and interests are still there. The internet has been urbanized and now most people live in large cities, but some people still live in small towns in the countryside.
