Not a bad idea, but I’ll warn you that the addiction for homelabs is strong.

The n100 will make you sad eventually as your self-hosting addiction soars.

An older i5 with onboard gpu or an nvidia card will make you happier and not pull THAT much wattage.

Your Minecraft server will thank you.

It’s almost like they live there and own cars for longer than 6 months

They ruined it by setting themselves as untouchable and wanting bigger profit margins than “richer than God” money.

You look for the cheapest used car that you can.

Leases are really only designed for businesses so that the business can write off value and depreciation early in their balance sheets for tax purposes. Financially they don’t work out great for your average consumer.

Consumers can’t write off those monthly and yearly expenses like a business does.

In fairness, ALL git terms feel backwards at first.

Either way, waiting 3 months worth of work before a commit is the big mistake here.

The problem is that these are “source control basics” that everyone needs to learn the hard way once it seems.

Waiting 3 months in between commits however is a really bad rookie mistake because you were worried about making a commit that wasn’t perfect.

I misread the title and thought this was about killing the poor, and I was less surprised than I should be.

Yes, I think you misunderstood what I meant, I think we’re saying the same thing.

They both are “manipulatively reading the rules” to make the rules seem say something that gives them more power than they have and zero responsibility to their neighbour, city, state or country

Same basic principle of “things mean what I want them to mean”

They’re all trying to do an end-run around democracy and society, it’s just a different level of power they believe they have.

Sov cits want it for themselves

These sheriffs want it for elections.

More dangerous, sure, but the same basic principle of “I can manipulatively read and misunderstand the rules so that they don’t apply to me”

They honestly sound like those sovereign citizens crap

The social media firms are the ones scraping the data.

They only add protections to make sure they get paid for it.
