Sometimes partition-magic can get you more space, but you’re running a high risk of breaking things.

You’re also trying to shrink windows down to less than a 500gb partition and I wouldn’t recommend that.

Get a second 500gb ssd and boot your second os from there?

No, I’ve just lived long enough to see through some of the narratives people push.

As I said, I’m open to the idea that I may be wrong, I can’t really know for sure, and I haven’t seen anything terribly convincing in either direction.

The problem is that the studies that show these numbers are brutal.

I’ve read them.

Most of the time their logic is “if the victim gives enough details, then it’s not false”

Or

“This cross examination of multiple studies shows that the studies all came to the same result” except that the studies all used the same methodology soo….. that doesn’t really prove anything.

I’m not saying they’re right or wrong, I’m saying that the studies themselves are brutally flawed.

I’m open to being wrong though, show me a study or any numbers that can conclusively prove what the actual stats are. Because to the best I can tell, there’s no good method to discover what percentage are true or false.

No, it’s nothing to worry about, it’ll be just a handful of super cheap parts in the power supply. Essentially when the power supply converts ac to dc, it has a bunch of standard parts, and if you cheap out on them, sometimes they make high pitched noises. The noises can vary in pitch too.

It’s not an intentional noise, it’ll be a shitty bridge rectifier.

Well, I always figured that “x ray vision” was just eyes that were super sensitive to the natural background radiation everywhere, and not that they were actually transmitting x rays

I just struggle with the severe disconnect where their emotions allow them to ignore the reality in front of them. I struggle to fathom the dissonance required for that
