  • Four ish hours sleep thanks to two ice packs, life is pain and suffering. back to cleaning.

  • Why are we here? Just to suffer?

  • Rental inspection on Wednesday. Possibly the worst timing.

Most of the house is fine, but my bedroom is a proper nest right now and also is the hottest room in the house.

I need to: Vacuum, rearrange stuff, find places to store things, clean my desk, hope to survive, and make sure the cat isn't too stressed by any of this. Which he will be because he's a big baby(like me)

  • My CPU is currently idling at 66c, poor thing.

  • I'm on Concerta(though, I was thinking about asking about Vyvanse.. But maybe not), so haven't had any shortage issues, but the authorization for my GP to manage my meds expired and I have to find and pay for a new psych. It's such bullshit that I need to pay so much to get meds for a condition I was diagnosed with at the age of 8.

  • Even if you use it to glass an infant sitting next to you, that's your call to make.

Erm, no, if you knowingly supplied glasses to a serial baby glasser you'd be arrested for the attacks.

Even if you weren't, it's generally accepted that continuing to hand over glasses as more and more infants get glassed would be an extremely fucked up thing to do.

  • Except this ban bans non-disposable vapes. The disposable ones were already banned and were just sold under the counter without any regulation, like they'll continue to be.

  • That's only happened to me once. Showed up, waiting twenty minutes, no one even told me until an hour later when they called to say he was out sick.

He is almost always late though.

  • Fun Centrelink discovery: Disability Employment Services providers have limits on what compulsory activities they can put on your job plan, so they might put the meetings as voluntary. The issue? The meetings are always mandatory according to Centrelink. The job plan doesn't actually matter and even if you do what they say you have to do, they can then have you cut off. Great system love it.

In better news: I'm no longer required to interact with them, and instead need to continue seeking volunteer work. Vastly less bad.

  • I'd like to submit a request that we delay today for another time. Perhaps in the middle of winter? That'd be a nice contrast I think.

  • ASIO has been infiltrated for a LOOOONG time

  • I forgot to reply to this, but it's a Lian Li O11 Dynamic XL case a friend gave me a few years ago. The front and side panels are glass, and it's about twice the width of a regular case to fit the power supply and drive bays in their own special areas.

  • I feel like people who say their local is cheaper are almost exclusively just rich enough to not notice the prices. The quality is probably much higher, sure, but price? Nah. None of the four or so near me are cheaper.

(Also, butchers don't put stuff out on clearance that can just go in the freezer until needed)

  • Nope, sorry. Old motherboard, cpu, and ram. Haven't replaced my GPU yet

  • Listed some old PC parts on Gumtree, the first five minutes I get the standard "I want to purchase give me your email so I can send you a phishing link" quickly followed by an account called "support" with the gumtree logo telling me I had a pending offer and to just provide my email.

This was then followed up with a second "support" account trying a different scam, and one person doing the "I will send a courier" bit.

    Gumtree is so shit.

  • New computer parts arrive today and it'll be too hot to do computer work.

I got this massive tempered glass computer case as a gift and let me tell you it isn't worth it.

  • Slept in, yet somehow feel like I barely slept.

Adulthood is bullshit I used to sleep 6 hours a night and wake up feeling refreshed

  • Yes definitely. If you open it up they'll just claim you broke something anyway
