  • Must be great stress relieve for the folks that do it as a side gig.

  • Bro. Just try it with duplicate files.
You will find out if the pictures don't load.

As for syncing: I heard some use syncthing for that.
My personal problem with it is, that I can never be sure it's done with multi device usage as there is no feedback to tell me so.

I am using Obsidian.md both with a remote repository (built-in 1st party paid model) and a community plugin for another repository using remotely-save (which saves it to my personal onedrive folder).
Both options have an indicator that they are done saving.
But with remotely-save I encountered corruption when I turned on my pc which hadnt had connected in a longer time. And remotely-save is configured to stop syncing if >50% of files have been changed.
So now I am running a background task to zip the whole folder and purge the oldest one every week.

  • Sure...as if they get my bio-data. That company will at best get a 1-way salted hash.

  • In that case, that actually usually requires to make an on-site visit.
At least it offers a reason more to visit a relative (lol)

  • Focker Docker container in host mode is sufficient for most cases requiring bare deployment.

  • Funny.
How without Wi-Fi? With a user clearly too stupid/panicked to click anything logical?

  • Depends.
Digital stuff? If I can my online nickname.
Is it personal? I will maybe use real name
    Physical? Obviously legal name.

  • Too much water. Not good with paper labels.

  • Mine is either Isopropanol alcohol and/or hot water (only with glass) + a lint free rag

The hot water get's inside the container to heat up the glue.
The isopropanol is to get rid of the glue.

  • ...and begins to dance gangnam style

  • Maybe the disk was running out of spare storage cells and ate into the actual data partition and corrupting the data table (if that's even possible)

  • The ZFS is in my case just TrueNAS. Can't trust myself setting that up :D
