  • Personally: They can be tasteful but often arent.
On my GTA 5 character I have a butterfly moth as a full back piece. I could consider getting them but only as a small piece on my leg or something as it's way to edgy for a full piece.
    Same for most other pieces.

  • For tape look up LTO or LTO-WORM.
That is the current industry standard (afaik).

  • And how do users connect to your port if your VPN-WAN doesnt have a port forward?
Same problem at a different point in the connection.

  • At best I'll use Termux as I am not in the mood to boot my pc and I juat need to edit some config file.

  • I wouldnt go out with my underwear in the garden.
But going with my bath shorts is totally fair game to my mind.

I would even hesitate dipping into the beach with my underwear even if it was with my mother/father.
It's somehow weird to me. Even if it's totally irrational.

  • Zotify and similar tools (not those youtube downloaders!)

  • The metadata proxy that mirrors musicbrainz DB is broken (read: Imploded).
For now artist/album search is broken.
Dunno about metadata-tagging for existing entries

  • Doesnt categorize (if you wanna be specific: Only faces).
But it sure can search pictures by terms.

  • Last time with customer service I was actually satisfied. Same with 1&1. They were cooperative and reasonable (unlile Vodafone and Telekom from what I heard)

  • This sounds like issues with SPF, DMARC AND DKIM.

You mean you (or your clients) send email to gmx/web recipients and they arent even received/blocked?

Have you checked if your mail server IPs are on a blacklist?

  • Don't have many problems with IONOS.
Our customers are usually recommended their S3 Object Storage (Very simple price structure)
I personally have the Business E-Mail due to it's price.
It's a bit limited and no DKIM but sufficient for most things.

  • Probably a case of hidden infrastructure.
I believe (no source) IONOS solely belongs to 1&1 AG of which 'United Internet' has a majority share (that I am sure of).
IONOS = Business focus. Primarily hosting and services
1&1 = End-Consumer focus. Primarily ISP and some other consumer services.

I would assume they count the infrastructure they provide for both 1&1 and IONOS.
Besides that they only have (I think) 2 DCs in Germany and 2 or 3 other locations in the EU and I think 1 in the US.

So in the end I would say it's either Hetzner or OVH and then IONOS as having the most infrastructure.

  • Ich bevorzuge Zangendeutsch.

  • Up: I like it or agree
Down: I dislike it or disagree.

  • Too much information.
    Back to smoke signals.

Wait. You know what? Back to monke!
