  • I cancelled my premium (lite) sub. Don't need that service for $60 per year

  • I had it with some situations but I assumed the host went to crap because it has happened before as well and just waited until it went back to regular service

  • They would peobably need a small trash compactor for the boxes to crush them.

  • That may be true.
But for anyone not reading it and getting instructions like "Go by feeling" when I don't even know if the dish tastes as it should be is like requesting me to run before I can even walk.

And this cooking lession will sooner or later be revealed to a beginner but it's very frustrating to think one cannot cook while it's just a smaller skill-issue someone needs to overcome.

  • Just like I usually dont.
So for example, I taste the water before I boil my pasta to see how salty it is.
Hardly undersalted the pasta so far.
Can't say I do it always for the other cookings ;)

  • This may be true for experienced cooks but beginners need more precise instructions that are not "Until it tastes good".

  • The alternatives are iOS (bad) and Harmony OS (Chinese Android distro. Very bad)
So it's either some Linux based distro customized beyond recognitiom by the manufacturer or a complete new OS like Microsoft (bad) tried.

  • An OS is a tool.
And you are a tool if you use the wrong tool for a purpose.
E.g. an essential program that only runs on windows and is either impossible or troublesome to run elsewhere.

  • No need to shell out money. They open effectively every other friday (meaning any major holiday like Eastern, summer holiday, black friday, Christmas, ...)

  • For me, those are deadlines. Nothing better.

  • Und das ist gut so!

  • Deploy the backup (or some part of it) to a test system. If it can boot or you can get the files back, they work.
