  • Well, I generally come in at least fifteen minutes late. I use the side door, that way my boss can't see me. Uh, and after that, I just sorta space out for about an hour. I just stare at my desk, but it looks like I'm working. I do that for probably another hour after lunch too. I'd probably, say, in a given week, I probably do about fifteen minutes of real, actual work.

The thing is, it's not that I'm lazy. It's just that I just don't care. It's a problem of motivation, all right? Now, if I work my ass off and the company ships a few extra units, I don't see another dime. So where's the motivation? And here's another thing,I have eight different bosses right now!

So that means when I make a mistake, I have eight different people coming by to tell me about it. That's my real motivation - is not to be hassled. That and the fear of losing my job, but y'know, it will only make someone work hard enough not to get fired.

Now they are trying to offer me some kind of stock option and equity sharing program? I have a meeting tomorrow where I am probably going to be laid off.

  • This is why I used to love Game of The Year Editions when they first became a thing. They had all the DLC and it was all packed into one place with all the patches it needed, plus I could buy it used. They are becoming less and less of a thing (I’m not even sure if they exist anymore). Further more some of the last GOTY editions just had codes inside to download the DLCs and seemed like they just included the original disc that needed the patches. Physical will likely just keep going downhill.

  • Thank you for teaching me sarcasm, I am in your debt. I’m also not an expert, and she’s not obese since she’s a personal trainer. You also forgot that she had a friend who also lived in the city she visited, for years might I add. It’s not just her experience. I also don’t think anyone was putting into question how fucked up the US is, because it most definitely is. The OP was asking a specific question and I answered it.

    • Interesting mythology and past.
    • Technologically advancing.
    • Many ethical issues against people by the Government.
    • They are very into the illusion of being a paradise.
    • If you are a person not from there, it can be a potentially traumatizing experience, depending on what parts of the country you go to.
  • There are people working on the infrastructure problem now. And if this year with everything going on doesn’t produce interest in the public interest in a third party, nothing ever will. Also, one is whether or not momentum can keep going and if anything would be ready in time by the next election. Two, even if they did win by magic, would the republicans or democrats even work with them once in office? I feel like both sides would sabotage things to make it look like third parties shouldn’t play.

Democrats have been shutting down AOC, no? I feel like reforming the Dems would be a very long road.
