In the one I saw, he was definitely contemplating his beliefs after the second failed test. But that doesn't mean he didn't justify and explain away the results later. It is very difficult for people to change core beliefs, even to the point of being painful for some people. In the case of this guy, idk what he eventually decided on, because the show didn't show it.
Definitely! I work at a computer 8-10 hours per day, 5 days a week. The last thing I want to do when I'm done working is sit at computer some more. I do almost all of my browsing on my phone. Firefox Mobile Nightly, plus NextDNS, plus Nord VPN, plus uBlock origin, plus a fake user agent string. I'm pretty secure on my phone.
The biggest challenge is that the woods aren't what they used to be. 150 years ago you could walk into the forest and see animals and berries everywhere. Nowadays, you'd need to hunt for days on end to find something like a deer, or a beaver, and you'd be lucky to find a source of naturally growing berries. You can still survive in the wilderness, but it's a lot harder than it used to be, and it was never easy.
Edit: forest animal depletion at 53% 1970-2014. That's just in that time frame. Before 1970 was an even more dramatic drop in forest population, to the tune of 90%. We're on our last few animals now.
You can help yourself a lot here by making commits every time you make a meaningful change. A feature doesn't need to be complete to commit major checkpoints along the path to completion. That's what feature branches are for. Commit often. It'll help you think of messages, and it'll help you recover in the case of catastrophe.
Levi's, but not the ones you buy at box stores like Walmart and Target. They make special shitty ones for those stores that don't last a year. Get them from Macy's, or the Levi's website. I have 20 year old Levi's that I still wear. I also have newer Levi's, so I can say that you can still get the good ones. They need to have the model number on them, not a description. If it says something like "low rise, casual fit" or any other cut description instead of a number, don't buy it. Those are the junk ones.
Eddie Bauer makes a pretty good pant. I liked my last pair so much that I wore them like 3-4 days per week for 3 years before the pocket started fraying. Not bad for a $15 pair of pants from Costco.

Rivian has had a fully functional, and well regarded electric truck on the roads for years now, and they start at $50k less than the Tesla. Why go with Tesla at all? I guess if you want a truck that looks like John Delorian designed it during a cocaine binge, and left all the cool parts on the design room floor, then a Tesla is a good choice.

There are CIA agents who live their entire lives without their spouses knowing they work for the CIA. How much more powerful must the round earth agency be than the CIA to maintain such a conspiracy for thousands of years? They're protecting the turtles. If people like Bezos knew that it's turtles all the way down, they'd certainly harvest the turtle shells to make fancy hair combs. That would spell the end of the earth.
Is that the one where they use the lighted poles at night and a board with a hole in it to prove the earth is flat? In that one they seemed a bit baffled and said they'd need to do the experiment again. To their credit, when they ran it again with the same results, they said they'd need to reevaluate their beliefs.
