If you're a senior engineer, then you should have a team of juniors doing most of the coding. Your job is to architect, peer review, meet with stakeholders, etc.. At least that has been my experience. Unless you are on one of those small teams with all senior engineers and then you have to do all of the above, and the coding too. I've had that experience as well.
The point is that you're not tortured for eternity. That idea didn't become popular until Southern Baptist started traveling the states with their fire and brimstone sermons. You are killed, obliterated, dead, for eternity. Game over.
That's the point I was trying to make. It's a mistranslation, or even worse, an intentional change. Even with the word there, there's enough context to make it clear that the punishment for denying christ is death, not eternal life. "Hell" is eternal, in the sense that you're dead forever. Those who are not written in the book of life are cast into the lake of fire, which is the second death. That's what it says. It takes a lot of mental gymnastics to change the definition of the word death to mean eternal life and torture, where it takes none to acknowledge that you die.
I've read that people think that is caused by the risers in his shoes to make him look taller. He's essentially wearing high heels. Someone shared a diagram on Reddit a few years ago that showed how high heels change your posture, and it made a lot of sense. Unfortunately I couldn't find it right now to share with you. It could also just be because of his big-ass belly, like you said.
Chevy is still all about knobs, which is the proper way to create car controls. Ford is pretty heavy into a full touch screen control center, which is really annoying as a driver.
You know what's unsafe? Putting a long-ass disclosure about keeping your eyes on the road that you have to close before you can use your infotainment center. We know how to drive, dude. Adding a distraction doesn't improve safety, it makes it worse.
You are absolutely correct. The original Hebrew word in the Bible for hell is Sheol, which means grave, or place of resting. He even says "this is the second death". You don't get eternal life, except through accepting him, according to the scripture.
Sex too.
Edit: so I guess two things
