Technically you could. It would be a marvel of engineering and would cost billions of dollars, and you couldn't go through the center of the Earth, but technically it is possible

Honestly there are a lot of variables involved. There will always be a market for cars without all that nonsense, and it's cheaper to produce a car without a touch screen. If I have to drive shitmobiles to avoid having to deal with "car as a service", then that's what I will do.

That sounds like a terrible policy to me. Why should legal migrants be prevented from traveling across states? That's a needless restriction on their rights. For the life of me, I can't see how this isn't human trafficking. The migrants are generally NOT told where they're going, or they're straight up lied to. Anyone who organized something like this should go to prison for human trafficking.

Also if you look at the economics of this action, you're exporting valuable laborers, consumers, and future census population to your rival states. Dumb move.
