  • They get 100% of the tip, it's a legal requirement. The scummy part is the company does this to give you the opportunity NOT to tip, and therefore subsidize the food for shitty people.

Just in case, the few times I have ordered food, I put a dollar or two tip in the app, and add a note saying I'll give them a cash tip. Usually I'll give them a 2-4 Dollars more depending. If you're using these services you need to tip, that's how they make their livelyhood and feed their families.

It's a scummy business, and you should definitely try to avoid using it unless it's your only option for some reason. Your order will probably be at least $30, but do you know how much spaghetti you can make with $30??

  • Definitely not a roguelike. This is the greatest stretching of "roguelike" that I've heard in my entire life.

But it is an excellent game.

One of the themes of the game is desensitization to violence, and you likewise become desensitized to the odd graphics. It's very cool!

  • I think that the more concerning implication is that states are the ones that determine who should be allowed to run for president or not. This is messy and not cohesive, I don't think this sort of structure which we may be building is conductive to a healthy democracy. But we will have to see how far reaching these events reach.

  • It's news in the sense that it's a historic event, the first of it's kind no less, and that it may be taken up by the Supreme Court.

In other words it's not non-news. It may not change the election (unless other states follow suit) but it's certainly important and worth attention.

  • It's more than clicking a single box when they build. They will have to provide support for Linux systems, that's the real kicker. Also their anti cheat might not like Linux.

Not saying they shouldn't, it's ridiculous that they don't support Linux. But there are valid reasons.
