  • I mean, VR is a thing still. It's just still niche at the moment. I don't think it has to be the main way to enjoy entertainment.

That said, I'm pretty sure the glasses you want are AR, not VR (Augmented reality)

  • Of what i've seen I can't say anyone should be calling it a pokemon clone. It doesn't even have an ounce of turn based combat. The monster collection is as close as it gets.

It seems closer to Minecraft/Ark/Terraria than to Pokemon.

  • I don't know how I feel about this.

I feel like either you don't care about this, because a lot of Yakuza fans will just play the game for the story and be done with it.

Or you do care about this and...I guess pirate it because NG+ being locked out seems kindof outrageous

It just doesn't seem like an audience thats going to bring in much money compared to the outrage?

It's not like you can even target streamers cause most don't play NG+

  • Normalized???

It's still literally rated as less family friendly than watching blood and gore murder.

If anything I'd argue that sexual repression is still going as strong as ever in some places. In some cases to unhealthy amounts.

  • I mean maybe you'd need an adapter if for some reason it doesn't have the RYW plugs, but these things will generally work on whatever TV you plug them into. TV manufacturers obviously didn't want to have to tell consumers that their products would stop working moving to LCD.

But a common factor is the console doesn't know the difference so the screen size will usually be stretched. But thats about it.

  • I don't recall it ever being considered a grown up game though. Even when Minecraft first came out most of the people I played with was more interested in playing WoW. I think League of Legends was around that time too.

edit: yeah 2009 was mid wrath of lich king, cataclysm didn't come out until 2010. So that was way too huge a year for WoW to not be pulling most of the older players.

  • I think Americans in general don't see it as a difficult choice to support Ukraine

Politicians find it difficult because Republicans are pro-russian, and both parties are heavily aligned with Israel. So Ukraines the only one really seeing any push back.

  • Think of it this way

By the next election one choice isn't eligible anymore, and the second will likely be so buried under court cases he won't be able to.

So it's more of a "finish what was started" and hopefully by the next election we'll finally have some new people to worry about.

  • ?? Historically it's been an issue where you need to prove you didn't do it, because otherwise the companies would bury you in legal fees trying to defend yourself. You're like...trying to argue an alternate universe to how this normally plays out.
