  • Hope whoever name this planet is super proud with it

  • Yeah same. I haven't been feeling the hype after World, Iceborne, Rise, and Wild doesn't have that umph i feel from watching World reveal trailer, mostly indifferent. But I guess it has more to do with me lacking the enthusiasm toward game like i used to than the game itself, and the lack of regional pricing turn me into patient gamer.

  • Why not offer him a Caesar Salad? Prepare the thing in front of him and tell him it's named after him, then start making by stabbing the salad multiple times.

  • Those cheaply made in china plastic handle one, it will break and fling itself across the room.

  • You're right, i'm now left handed 💪

  • I heard of Gimp 2 and tried it around 2013/14, the version of that time is what my opinion is based on. Granted it's been 10 years or so i first tried it and i need it as i have no access to adobe software anymore. Right now i've no used of image editing software, but i guess it's my only option if i need it.

  • I think it's called Uber.

  • Is that so, my bad then.

  • Because you're blaming the woman there for what happened today. Also, are we talking about afghanistan woman or are we talking about US woman here? The current thread started with Afghanistan woman, stick with that.

  • It's sorta unfair to blame all of them for what happened today. Because first thing first, US invade them and for the next 20 years, took control of their country. They've been living in an ok time("ok" just not to generalise that nothing happened these years) because NATO forces is holding back the Taliban. And then Trump withdraw the force in such short time, basically gave Taliban the country, and Taliban swept across the country and gain control. I've read news of women's armed resistance force fighting back but as we all can see today, they've lost.

Second, for them to fight back, they have to fight back Islam as a whole. They've been indoctrinated for generations to act how the man who wrote the book want them to, to rebel against it they have to rebel against their whole society, alienation is very common result of that, and worst, punished. It's easy for privileged western people who isn't religious to say that, but to them, they have to move a mountain to achieve a small victory.

Those brave women is currently rebel against the taliban rule, your statement is just so flipping unfair to them.

  • I'm already way passed my time of using image editing software, but i've also heard people say the same for 2.0, but in my experience i still have to tolerate a lot of UX shit. And crash. But cool nonetheless, i'll check it out. Professional still should just get Affinity rather than struggle with a release candidate.

  • Yeah, the only software that can stand toe to toe with Adobe is Affinity, and they're winning at the no subscription pricing. Other than that Adobe is really no equal when it comes to FOSS, a lot of those alternative is just us tolerating the flaw. Used to do stuff with photoshop, illustrator, flash, and after effect, switching to foss is...rough. Like you said, Gimp is barely usable, inkscape is good but far behind illustrator, and i don't think flash and after effect have any foss alternative when i looking for it. The only free alternative to after effect that is good is davinci resolve, but that's still proprietary.

  • Can i order that lar tay in starbuck?

  • Why would i engage with deflection? You're not even trying to proof the finding wrong, merely justifying the reason, which is admitting human right violation indeed happened within China. And i have no desire to impress anyone from this instance.

  • So far it's just deflecting and deflecting. Why not just straight away and tell me you don't have any evidence to proof that China didn't do what they got accused of? Might save us some time going back and forth.

  • If you actually went to Xinjiang and asked the Uyghur people themselves

When a country have such an abysmal score on human right and freedom of express, i'd take whatever people inside China said with a huge spoon of salt, as well as any country official that took the guided tour of the region. I'm not sure who will answer no when asked about whether they're happy with no violence occuring, but i bet you can ask Israeli the same exact question before 7th oct and they will be happy that Palestinian are being kept in such way that violate the human right.

the UN put this to issue to bed two years ago

Refused to talk is put the issue to bed? Isn't this like when US veto-ed all those ceasefire talk about Israel genocide?

  • I'm pretty sure if the same thing happened to ethnic minority in the US for the same reason, you will be up in arm against it. But sure, you do you.

Also yet to refute UN's claim.
