  • How could they be reclaimed? They are owned by somebody who legally owns them. Unless the owner is found guilty of something that entitles the government to take possession then there’s no legal way to do that.

Keep in mind this article is about Teslas in Germany, where expropriation is legal if a judge deems it to be for the greater good. But that's only really possible in theory and thus far doesn't happen in practice

  • Musk labeled Social Security a "Ponzi scheme"

Well, he is correct about that. But in true republican fashion his solution is to get rid of it, instead of reforming it to be more sustainable without infinite population growth

  • Reddit karma uses a logarithmic function to determine the karma on a post. The first upvotes give 1 karma each, but the higher the number gets the less karma you get from additional upvotes.

This isn't even some theory based on observations, the reddit algorithm used to be completely open source so you can see how it works on github (or at least how it used to work 7 years ago).

Front page reddit posts with 50k points most likely have over a million upvotes in reality

  • Using xmr to order anabolic steroids from clearnet UGLs and to order acid and molly from darknet markets, as god intended 💪

And to top it off all the xmr comes from semi legal business ventures in the first place, so this is a nice way to get rid of black money

  • because many cars have regular headlights that are as bright as normal high beams

You seem to have no grasp of how car headlights work, because almost every single car that has ever been produced has high beams that are as bright as their low beams

  • but since Musk seems to know what happens when you use too much ketamine, it seems to me like he's probably abused it at some point.

I don't agree with that argument, even though I would also bet Musk has done higher doses before. But it doesn't require you to try it out to know that you aren't a productive "worker" when you are in a k-hole...

  • I avoid them as much as possible purely because their in-house logistics company recently started doing their deliveries here instead of DHL, and they are absolutely terrible. Delivery times range from 7 AM to 9 PM and they just leave the package in front of your door without even ringing the doorbell

  • Well, with low-end gpus (like the integrated APU in the Steam Deck) there is still competition. The main reason high-end gpus are so expensive is that there are no alternatives to Nvidia, so they can ask for any price they want

  • Yes, if I was using it only for myself I could make Jellyfin work for me, but since I share my Plex server with about 50 family members and friends I still have to stick with Plex. It just has an app for pretty much every device that exists, which isn't the case for Jellyfin. The clients are also much more user friendly so I don't have to play tech support all the time because people can't get the Jellyfin app working on their shitty 10 year old Samsung smart TV.
