  • If you like the movie I recommend picking up the novelization. It's a slightly different version of the script in a couple places but it does an amazing job of filling in a lot of details and how the magic works, and some stuff that was cut from the movie (the half breed demon Constantine is in a relationship with, etc).

  • Don't correct me if I'm wrong but I don't believe that word is ever used in the short story, only the movie, SO THERE!

  • Technically speaking this would make it easier to filter and cleanse the (concentrated) bad air inside the dome. It's not feasible for a bunch of other reasons, but this one we at least have the technology to handle right now. Maybe not at the volume needed but that's a different issue too.

  • The first Mission Impossible is a spy thriller and it is beautiful. Nothing against what came after it (mostly good spy action thrillers) but the first is a very different movie.

    Also: The Hunt For Red October. Phenomenal movie.

  • I actually loved everything about his personification in the two-parter, it showed how different captains have different style and expanded on how and why different captains choose their first officer to fit their command style. Sure he was an asshole compared to our previous experiences with Picard et al. but he absolutely saved the day in that episode.
