I wish they could be like overclocked to make the most of one if you're stuck with a mediatek chip device. I got a new Galaxy Tab A7 Lite several months back and yeah it was very cheap but its SOOO sluggish! Lag lag lag for almost every single thing! I'm considering selling it off unless I can manage to find a GSI build because all of the few ROMs that were posted for it are not online anymore. If I can manage to find anything it could be made to perform quite well, but as it is with Samsung's awful One-UI it can literally sometimes not handle entering the settings app!

And you have to hold down the shift or Fn while hitting the desired key. Like a freaking desktop keyboard. No sticky. Wtf is up with that?

I rarely get anything from the play store. Usually f-droid or one of the other apps like Droidify or Izzy, and Aurora. Once in a while an app demands to verify with the Play store for the life of me I have no idea why… Plexus has helped with that sometimes, but sometimes doesn’t work.

The nature of your post is highly trollish so yes delete absolutely everything. The sooner you can stop wasting everyone's attsntion, the better.

I can never understand how people source their operation on a communication platform. It’s happening on Discord as well. No ownership or control; such a dumb thing to do.

Yeah attachments usually don’t last and they’re often linked on some temporary storage share. I will try some posts on there though. Never know.

I usually sell them or if they’re not desirable I either use as a pocket computer (I do tons of stuff) or give away to someone who wants to learn.

I’m not a developer so making my own build is not happening.

OK I hear ya. I think like anything, a low-quality, low-effort, low-cost product will appeal to a certain demographic, and there will be no shortage of bottom-feeders who will peddle it for a buck.

I don’t understand the odd jump to teenagers on Deviantart. You sound like you have an axe to grind.

I don’t know why you attribute to the deviantart community the status of teenagers, and I also don’t know why you think that there aren’t talented and seasoned artists all over the world making beautiful expressions in a diverse spectrum of media.

Are you bitter about something? I don’t like AI art whatsoever and I don’t think it deserves to be called art. It’s sewage. I also think that individuals who like that crap distinguish themselves as unsophisticated and dumb. I think most people with taste feel this way. So what’s got you worried?

Wow this is actually happening? The country really seems more and more all the time like we are going to end up two separate nations. The U.S.A. and Gilead.

The post you linked to is written extremely poorly, clearly by someone who would absolutely fail any writing class. They are very poor at writing in all aspects. Also they integrated references and slang.

Well yeah and it’s why I’ll never buy a phone that isn’t sustainable. These companies are a poison to our world. It’s just very disappointing to me how few of us have a shred of integrity. It’s so sad and sickening.

The two big leaders Apple and Samsung they’re leading the way in the poison the earth brigade. And in these times all the assholes who talk about climate change yet use a ton of non-sustainable tech because it’s enjoyable…. They all sicken me and I have no respect for a single one. I’d just as soon they all drop dead.

Plus it means they’ll definitely have an inaccessible battery. More of that is the last thing many people want.

One or two of my computers have been on for about five years. The laptop I use mostly has been on for several months. But I'm a very teched-up person. I've got computers in various forms all over the place. Actually less nowadays compared to many years ago. I don't shut anything down because I've got various services in operation 24/7.

I have found assorted features I like on Samsung's tailored Android, and I've found an equal amount of terrific features in LG's interface. The only time I have a real problem is when there are significant customisations you cannot turn off. And that's being done more and more. Hence, custom ROM. It is amazing how much better some devices run once I put CM, or Lineage or some others, on it.
