I've been seeing lot of these posts about Linux. Way more since I joined Lemmy. What's the deal?

I have 0 knowledge of programming/coding and feel should be as far away from Linux as possible. Is it not meant for GUI people like us?

It could be AI sport when we actually have an general purpose AI. That based on people working on llm and gpt, would take between 6 years and never happening.

It's not easy to create a super ai who's realistically smarter than humans in every aspect.

I'm one of those artists who write like a doctor. It's on my bucket list to practice calligraphy. Probably would get around to that in my own middle age. Based on my research it helps sort out a lot of pathways in the brain too.

Cursive is something the next gen might only hear about or learn in art/typography school. Gonna be a thing of the old.

My dad's graduation certificate has the most beautiful cursive writing I've even seen whereas mine simply has a fancy print job.
