I am pretty happy about the fact that I taught somebody five days ago of the Palestinians’ Jewish heritage. She had also been under the mistaken impression that they were simply the descendants of some Arab tribe that moved in shortly after the Roman Empire expelled the Jewish population, and when I showed her the reality, she was fascinated.
Funny story about my source of inspiration: out of boredom, I looked into archived /pol/ threads (which I don’t recommend doing, by the way, especially with images turned on) where some antisemites wrote off the Palestinians as being Jewish. Then I did the same thing on X (formerly known as Twitter) and found others doing it, though some users actually brought up the fact in good faith and offered evidence for it. That was what really sparked my interest.
I’m confused. Are you saying that big business institutionalized militant, petty bourgeois movements in the Russian Federation and the PRC with the intention of securing capitalism at any cost?
“Antisemitism is a disease carried by barbarians” in “all civilized societies,” said Netanyahu.
‘All civilized societies’ except for the ‘State of Israel’, I presume?
As much as I loathe antisemitism, the harsh truth is that it can manifest in formal ways as well as informal ones. Kevin B. MacDonald is a good example, and pro-Axis intellectuals like David Irving are almost notorious for frustrating Shoah survivors with difficult questions. Intellectual antisemitism is still bullshit of course, but it is a problem that has to be acknowledged; dealing with it is not as easy as it sounds.
I know that this is not the most obvious issue with this conference, but it is an omission that too many overlook when Herzlians pretend to care about antisemitism. Acknowledging the complexities of a problem is a good indication that you take it seriously, which settlers like Netanyahu certainly don’t.
In the wet and dark nights, the men of the List Regiment started to see enemy soldiers everywhere. One night, dark shadows were moving slowly towards them. The men of RIR 16 sensed an imminent enemy attack. Soon they sent a formidable barrage of fire at the shadows.
Yet strangely enough not a single shot was returned. They were soon to find out why. As the sun rose the following morning, the area ahead of their front was littered with dead bodies—the dead bodies of a herd of cattle that had gone astray during the night.⁴⁰ This was not the war that they had expected.
My guess is that their thinking is based on the sunk cost fallacy. The Western ruling class has been wasting everybody’s tax dollars on this conflict for several years now and nobody wants to see all of that dosh go to waste by letting Kiev and Moscow sign a peace treaty that inhibits NATO expansion.
What I find upsetting is how so many people can dismiss the antisemites in the Ukrainian military and other institutions with half-baked excuses like ‘it’s okay because the neo-Nazis are all gone now’ (whichthey aren’t), ‘it’s okay because they have a Jewish president’ (who isn’t fixing the problem), and ‘it’s okay because Russia’s got neo-Nazis too’ (which is irrelevant; they aren’t the ones benefitting from our tax dollars). I know that it doesn’t bother neoclassical liberals to keep beating their war drums, but that they can gloss over Ukrainian antisemitism as a nonissue and an open and shut case… just astonishes me.
A structure of society, which has so evolved, should not be changed or tampered with. For a stratified society is the inevitable result of the laws of nature, the creation of natural forces, and not the product of human determination. For that reason, the structure of society should remain unchanged.
[With] this perception of society came the frightening observation that the inferior reproduced faster than the average while the superior reproduced slower than the average. These two tendencies together must worsen the quality of the genetic substance of the entire race progressively with each generation. The result must bring a degeneration (Entartung) of the race as a whole.⁵² This leads to a “debasement” (Verpöbelung) of the race and a fall of culture”.⁵³
The faster than average rate of reproduction of the inferior was a serious menace for Lenz 1932 and the following racial hygienists such as Ritter, Vogel and Finger in the Third Reich 1937.
