  • I voted for Clinton and Harris enthusiastically. Are they perfect candidates? No. No candidate is perfect, and that's the problem with online leftists. Seemingly, they will only get off the couch when they have 100% of what they want. This is also why the party doesn't court leftists in this country. Because even if they give them 80% of what they want, that 20% will keep them on the internet complaining they're not getting that 20.

  • That's not true at all. Online liberals would have found some other thing to crucify Harris over. The idea that some of you guys didn't support a candidate because of the actions of a foreign government, is simply baffling to me.

  • He never looked unbeatable. The US news refused to do any due diligence on his plans. Literally every major economist (or something like that) endorsed Harris.

Once again, the news media refuses to take responsibility for the fucking mess they helped create.

  • Bernie is just too old. I'm tired of geriatric people being in charge, to be honest.

He believes all the right things, but the issue is he has never, in his time in the senate, ever gotten anything major passed.

That is a huge part of leadership. You can't just 'be right' you have to also get things done. I love love love Bernie's ideas, but he has never been a good leader in that dept.

  • So the issue with this thinking, is that those percentages will still be there no matter what candidate it is. I do agree with you that people generally prefer leftist policies. I'm a progressive, and would love a Bernie platform to be the policy foundations for the country.

The issue is, if you're going to voluntarily cede 2-4% of your electorate just because they are a woman, why not run someone who's a guy who has the same policy legs.

  • Totally agreed.

These people literally are destroying the pre eminent power and completely usurping centuries old historical power hierarchies seemingly for the benefit of shorting the markets on their own whim.

As if those dollars they earn will be worth anything when hyperinflation hits.

  • Two very qualified women have been beaten by the worst presidential candidate in the history of the country.

In what world do you think the answer is running another woman?

I love AOC. I think she is the future of this country. But she would be much more effective in the senate. Let Gavin, Walz, or someone else who is in the white dude category be on the top of the ticket.

Is that fair? No. But do you want to be fair or do you want to win elections?

  • So here's the fucking thing.

The crisis is already here. Go take a peak at the ports on the west coast right now. Go look at business forecasts.

This man systematically destroyed a working economy in a business quarter.

The repercussions of these actions are going to be felt for at least a decade.
