Not yet. They're supposedly "working on it". This is the feature I'm most looking forward to.

Win+Pause/Break opens properties of your PC (on Windows obviously).

That's partly Lemmy's fault for using a custom spoiler syntax. But yeah it sounds like Eternity doesn't support it yet.

That said, there was an issue in their repo just recently closed, so it sounds like support is coming!

What client do you use? It looks fine in Thunder. (I agree it's spammy in general, but not because of the formatting.)

Do you know how this compares to Ditto?

System Informer is a nice, more modern take on Process Explorer. My favorite feature is the filter which supports RegEx and searches the process name, command args, path, etc. Really nice for monitoring a few important processes.

If you're on Win 11, use NanaZip. It's a fork with better integration with Windows 11's crappy conext menu.

AnyDesk has started enshitifying too but it's still better than TeamViewer.

What? This just isn't true? I RDP into work all time and it picks up my user session with all open apps from the last time I was physically at the machine. Then next time I'm at the machine, it picks up the session from last time I remoted in. In other words, as long as you always use the same account, it's always the same session.

You are right this, but this is actually a benefit in my opinion. The last thing I want is for someone to turn on my monitor and see everything I'm doing. I like that it's a private session of sorts.

Also RDP is better at adapting resolutions (I want my session to use my local monitors' resolution, not the remote one) and forwarding system key shortcuts than any other remote solution I've used.

It's very optimistic to think people will be able to describe what they're going to do before they do it. I find things rarely go exactly as planned and my commit messages usually include some nuance about my changes that I didn't anticipate.

Got it! Are they renumbered chronologically? Like if my 11 was created before your 11, would yours be the one that's renumbered?
