  • Sure means yes. You can do both. When it comes to messaging, you can talk about 1000 things if you like. And then the public will get lost.

Focus on one thing and nail them with it, while still drawing some attention to the many other things.

It's not rocket science, but neither is figuring out that "sure" is an affirmative.

  • Am I misreading it that the assumption the allegations are true is used to deliberate whether the lawsuit is nonetheless inappropriate on other grounds?

None of this means that the judge believed or found them to be true. It means they don't matter.

Edit: On reflection, I had the right interpretation. Embarrassing for the others....

  • Sorry for late response. Not what I am saying at all. Everybody gets due process. If you want to exempt Nazis, then we have to rely on your judgement of who is a Nazi. No thanks. That's like relying on the Trump administration to determine who is in MS-13 and not have to prove it.

Castration for pedophiles without trial! Uh, what if when you look more closely at the case, the evidence that the suspect was a pedophile falls apart? Just because the crime is heinous doesn't mean the suspect is guilty.

  • Can't we just call it corrupt? It may not even be illegal, but it's definitely corrupt.

I think the general public couldn't care less about Trump doing illegal things, but Trump or his cronies doing things labelled as corrupt might get their attention.
