I actually had this game pre-ordered a long while back but with the huge upheaval around the developer I canceled it. I haven't played any other games by this developer but I like the concept art. Still, I remain ever apprehensive.
I also thought it was hyperbolic until I saw the source. Apnews, along with Reuters, are my gold standards for news. If they are reporting it then I believe it is very real and very serious.
I think you kind of missed the forest for the trees here. Those 20 command lines that run in the background will take the same amount of time to complete each task as manually entering them, sure. But the benefit is that you take less time to overall because I don't care how fast you are with typing, you still have to enter 20 commands instead of just the 4 buttons.
Local judges tend to be elected from the district they are in and while they're not part of a political party per se they run on a platform of being tough on crime or light on drug infractions or that kind of thing. Seeing how the political parties in America are so polarized ideologically that essentially leads to conservative judges being elected in conservative districts.
For higher state courts and federal courts a judge is nominated by the executive branch, and then confirmed or denied by the legislative branch. What started as an attempt at balance between the arms of government has just lead to more tribalism to further agendas.
Away from the edutainment and tech based stuff, I like Decino. Just a guy that really likes playing old school Doom. He doesn't do the whole exaggerated reactions or yelling or anything like that and I don't think I've ever heard him plug any kind of sponsor or product. It's great to put on in the background or just watch casually if you're into it

I like that in all of your rambling, despite directly quoting me, you carefully evaded explaining why China would want to build fake islands and expand it's territorial waters.
Hey look. A tankie that has no idea what the fuck they are talking about. I am shocked. Territorial waters are defined as 12 nautical miles typically from the shore. These are defined by the United Nations that China is a part of and agreed to. There is a reason why China is literally building fake islands to increase it's territorial water claim there.

The inference here is that both views are of equivalent merit which is very much not true. This idea is called The Paradox of Tolerance. If a society is tolerant without limit, its ability to be tolerant is eventually ceased or destroyed by the intolerant.
Agreed. Tankies are right-wing authoritarians in that communism is supposed to be stateless. They bitch about US imperialism but are always very quiet about China's actions in Africa. It's frustrating because like I get it. America has some pretty deep problems but to think that somehow it is worse than China is mindlessly reactionary.
For real. The tankie problem here is crazy. I can say something like China is trying to deny freedom of navigation of international waters on the South China Sea and somehow it becomes "BuT aMeRiCa". I don't get it.
