I don't think anyone on the grid expects much from Stroll, the issue Danny seems to have is how Stroll played the victim despite the fact he very blatantly simply wasn't paying attention.

They are separate bills. You'd know that if you bothered to read the first sentence of the second paragraph that OP copy/pasted. You didn't even have to click on the article.

It can be either. Things like thar absolutely are warning signs of depression, and ignoring that is dangerous. Doesn't mean everyone (or even the majority) of those that do have depression, but that doesn't change that it is a warning sign.

The fact that anyone who thought buying one of these was a good idea has enough money to do so is proof that we don't live in a meritocracy

Portal and Portal 2 are my go to tests for if a machine qualifies as "an computer". Basically, if it can run those, it's probably good enough to be grandmas facebook machine. Might have to toss an ssd into it (exactly what I did with an old core2duo hp pavilion), but generally I find it to be a good rule of thumb.

Plus it gives me an excuse to play Portal when I test a machine :P

The issue is ensuring its clearly not coerced, which is effectively impossible in practice. Unfortunately it's one of those things where once you allow people to be paid for it, it's gets really, really dark, really, really quickly.
