  • People that didn't grow up in environments where you're surrounded by shitty, bigoted opinions don't understand just how fucking hard it is and how long it takes to deprogram yourself from that shit. Took me longer than 18.

Once he starts personally getting on stage and being a bigoted shitbag, I'm more than fine with putting him on blast. Til then, I'm willing to give the kid at least some of the benefit of the doubt.

  • I'm not sure why this guy's so reluctant to accept something that sticking a bunch of high voltage cables in a swamp isn't something Iraq would've done in that war. I don't even mean in a "oh they did immoral things way", I mean in a "they were basically doing ACME shit the entire war" way.

Did Iraq probably heavily inflate the number killed? Absolutely. Even if they weren't trying to, they had tons of barbed wire and floating mines in that swamp, so kinda hard to distinguish what killed who when all you care about is building corpse road. But they also absolutely electrified a swamp during the battle of the marshes, and it absolutely did kill people.

  • It's a feedback loop. A fairly small jump can get you trending, which makes people watch it, which makes it even more visible, rinse and repeat.

  • As awful as it is, gotta admit that electrifying a swamp is a pretty creative move.

  • Anyone who’s name is an anagram for The Reptile invalidates your entire premise…

You don't know even know my real name, I'm the fucking Lizard King

  • Especially when you have constant pressure to be that way from everyone around you. Truth be told, I've always just felt bad for the kid. Sure we're to the point where you've gotta expect him to at least start thinking for himself, but that type of deprogramming takes a long ass time.

  • Could they at least be creative in their dumbassery. Blaming brown people for all your problems is so overplayed

  • There's plenty of tech from my younger days that was fun then that I wouldn't find fun now. An original iPod is not one of those.

  • Sure, if you use it for an hour a day, you're not gonna notice it much. And I'm not disagreeing that a lot of the software sorely needs to be improved. The people who are going to notice aren't you. They're the ones using their devices all day for work or similar.

  • Hoping they have success, but to say that their laptop chips are truly mainstream, at least in the same sense that Apple gives, is a bit generous I feel.

Obviously the X series has a decent shot at changing that, which I really hope it does.

  • It being ugly has absolutely fuckall to do with the structural integrity

  • I like keeping tabs on it, as they're really the only ones pushing mainstream high end ARM chips at the moment.

  • The primary benefit for the average consumer tends to be longer battery life due to the same task using less power, in theory anyway.

  • If we had the same size, I could be wearing my grandfather's steeltoes that are probably a solid 40 years old. People really underestimate how long good footwear lasts when you take care of it.

  • It's not exactly unheard of for them to expand on the punishments after the race.

  • Whatever meat was on sale. Fry it up in a pot. Add some bbq seasoning. Take off the heat, stir in some cheese. When that's melted, add an egg, whatever bbq/hot sauve you want. High protein tacos for cheap, lived off that for a real long time, and they're actually damn good

  • Combo of Aldi's and a local store got me through college. Got cheap as fuck meat (bless $3/lbs ground pork) at the local store, everything else at Aldi's

  • I'm assuming it's unnecessary and out of place sarcasm
