  • He neglected to do anything through proper channels, and instead betrayed his country rather than try to fix the problems through whistle blower channels where he would have actually had legal and tangible protections.

I'm not going to pretend he wasn't reckless as fuck but don't pretend for even a moment that "going through the proper channels" would have gotten him anything that even halfway resembled a fair trial.

  • Obviously the article is a bit inflammatory, but the overall message really isn't wrong.

Unionize or die, basically. Obviously not literally, but one of the clearest lessons of the last year has been unions help preserve job security. It's not a lesson that should have been needed, and frankly it'll fall on far too many deaf ears, but hopefully more people realize it.

  • There's been a lot of weird issues with the game pass version that the steam version doesn't have for whatever reason

  • I've done similar before. It works far better than it should.

  • I think the point is politics in a nation can change at any time, and as such you may lose the domain/no longer feel safe supporting that nation. Just because they wouldn't now doesn't mean they wouldn't in the future. (Especially with how well AfD is polling and how much CDU/CSU seem to be starting to cooperate)

  • Don't pretend for a second itll actually be enforced against the in group

  • Oklahoma’s highest criminal court denied the request to toss out Glossip’s execution, claiming a crucial piece of new evidence undermining his conviction “does not create a reasonable probability that the result of the proceeding would have been different.” The state parole board split 2-2 on whether to grant relief to Glossip, with one member recused because his wife helped prosecute Glossip.

Meanwhile, while Gov. Kevin Stitt (R) twice postponed Glossip’s execution, he’s more recently signaled that he intends to defer to the courts’ determination of whether this man should be executed.

Remember folks, the cruelty is the point

  • Yall really forgot how to not feed the troll huh

  • You're never the craziest person in the room is a generally good rule of thumb

  • My friends base model kia soul from 2013 has less issues with gaps in the body and awful craftsmanship with regards to interior trim than the two model 3s that are in my family. The same has been true for quite literally every car I've ever owned, and I've owned real pieces of shit. It's also been in the shop less despite having been around an extra 7 years.

  • I'm no icecreamologist, but if I had to guess, the man wanted ice cream.

  • Anyone buying a Tesla at this point either knows they're buying a shit car purely for the status symbol, or they're a rube. Fools and their money and all that

  • Friendly reminder that the nazis never won a majority the first time around.

  • At least there's a reason for McDonald's ice cream machines not working, even if it is blatant and disgusting corporate greed from Taylor Company.

  • Because peaceful protests worked in preventing the nazis last time

  • So as I was saying, I'll sell you the Brooklyn Bridge for the low sum of $50,000!

And trust me, I don't have to look for reasons to hate the DNC. Them being slightly less shit than the GOP does not make them good. It makes them slightly less shit.
