  • Thrunderbird is a very very niche client these days (I used when it first came out for years, it was very cool back then). It is rarely used today but I know has some hard core users still.

What type of mail hosting are you using? Are you doing ANY SPAM / JUNK filtering at that level?

  • Gmail filters most of them for my personal email ProofPoint filters most of them for my work email. Any legit ones I get I tend to quickly hit the unsubscribe link for.

If you are getting an overwhelming amount of them in your inbox then you have poor SPAM filtering in place or subscribed to a lot of legitimate lists.

Since you mentioned Thunderbird, I assume you are on a very cheap ISP or self host mail system with poor filtering.

  • I highly suggest using the "stacks" feature in portainer as it lets you use standard docker compose YAML files to do the config but still lets you have the ease of use of the stop start, pull, CLI UI etc. The default way of using portainer often obfuscates important settings.

  • If the dockers networking is NOT in host mode it will not really discover much as discovery depends on a lot of ports for a lot of different protocols.. As bookworm also noted DNS / mDNS is also very important to discovery.

  • Cheaper? :O This is the super-deluxe splurge option compared to some cheap IKEA ZigBee bulbs

Depends how many bulbs are on each switch, in my home it is typically 4 to 1 at a minimum and the switch will outlive the bulbs. Color is about the only reason to use a smart bulb.

  • Steam Deck and Proton have done wonders for Linux compatibility efforts.

However looking at NEW releases I actually want to play, many launch barely working on windows let a lone via proton / emulation. My back catalog has great support but we need more titles launching with official support.

The worst thing has to be all of the "launchers / game stores" JUST GIVE US GAMES!
