  • Well I was IP banned on reddit. Anybody on reddit that uses my ip address gets an automatic ban forever. I don't know exactly what I said or do. I tried appealing no response till date. Got tired of trying different vpn just for reddit and had to move.

    • Those who tried Linux and went back to Windows, what caused you to go back to Windows?

  • I left windows because of the unauthorized data stealing and forced updates. linux has been a god sent and haven't look back.

  • Threads is just another gimmicky clone of Twitter, there is not new or interesting about it plus it collects all your personal data.

    • One of Reddit’s biggest communities is suggesting users move to Discord

  • I don't think discord is the way forward. Lemmy on web is awesome but the app on mobile needs a lot of work to be remotely good.
