  • Wheels that size shouldn't exist, and neither should those critter trail enclosures. I used to have pet mice and nothing about that setup would be appropriate for them, and I can't think of an animal that would do well in there. They're not even small enough to run comfortably in that wheel (they get similar back problems from running in wheels that small). But while hamsters are low on the "give a fuck" scale, mice are even lower.

  • I also had a coworker named America and I'm pretty sure her parents were immigrants - English was pretty clearly not my coworker's first language. I think it works for her situation. (Funny enough, it was her reckless behavior that caused me to spend my last few weeks at that job on light duty...)

There's also America Ferrera, I don't think the name is that weird.

  • That's not really weird for American road sizes. If I had to guess that's more of a stroad with speeds around 64 km/h (40 mph), possibly officially 48 km/h (30 mph) with everyone doing 10 mph over the speed limit because the roads aren't designed to slow traffic to safe city speeds. Most of our roads are like this, and it's a contributor to our abhorrent pedestrian fatality rate.

  • I've got one of me that was fun and not actually insulting, I worked at Disney across from a caricature art booth and one of the artists world draw nearby Cast Members when it was slow. Although I'm not sure where it is at the moment because it's not actually hung on the wall.

A less bizarre one of a couple could be cute.

  • A former roommate of mine had a papillon that lived in the master bedroom with three cats when she wasn't home, and she'd be gone for 8+ hours at a time... the dog learned to use the litter box from the cats.
