  • In some places the tap water is decidedly less pleasant than others. What gets me is the people that think the tap water is gross about places with wonderful tap water.

  • The general problems I've seen are the excessive aversion to debt and promotion of high cost actively managed funds. Now the first one is probably good advice for some, the second is just paying more for generally reduced diversification. That said, I'd have to dig back into his current advice to be up to date on it since I've generally been absorbing Boglehead propoganda.

  • Hard to say how that will work out with streaming nowadays. I grew up as an older millenial with things like MAS*H reruns and other shows that ended before I was born. With only a couple of channels on broadcast TV, I only had so many choices. I imagine availability on popular streaming services will have the potential of similar effects, but somewhat less.
