We're having a housing cost issue, but despite all reports saying there is a shortage of houses - I don't know if I believe it. Maybe in specific areas and maybe of a certain type.
But everywhere around me houses are sitting and sitting and sitting until the sellers lower the price enough that someone buys it.
I owe taxes from the past and got on a payment plan. I will be paying it for the next 5ish years.
Yes, there's insignificant interest related to it (it's sub 2%). But ultimately I am slow rolling what I owe and they're getting devalued money later.
Sometimes I just don't pay and they don't seem to notice for months and then they send me a notice about it, so I call and make up a story and they forgive the fees.
Look, I am not opposed to taxes. I'm not opposed to the greater good. I donate plenty to local charities and causes. But this administration can fuck right off.
Agreed. I've used the infotainment on EVs from Kia, Toyota, Cadillac, and Hyundai so far and Tesla is so much smoother and seamless and intuitive.
And don't get me started on the mobile app and API access. Toyota's mobile app might be the worst in the industry, dear god it's bad. It crashes during setup and the salesperson just said, "Yeah that's normal it's why it only has 2 stars".
I don't understand then, are they just bilking each other?
If the billionaires are buying en masse to profit off this, someone is selling. If billionaires own the majority...they're...selling to each other and losing?
This all reminds me of a coworker I had back in the day that was like 6 weeks from retirement and they were super excited and happy and hopeful. It was all they talked about.
And 2wks after they retired the 2008 crisis hit. Their portfolio went to absolute shit, they panicked and sold. And then later missed the window for good general recovery.
