By that logic a steak is processed beef. But yeah there's a bit of a subjective line in the sand - all food goes through a process of some sort. Even veggies have to be picked, sorted, and washed.
Generally what is meant by processed is either food that's undergone a preservative process or food with additives to make a secondary product. Like American cheese is processed cheese because it has additives after the original cheese process.
Generally butchery or packaging is not the colloquial bar for 'processed'.
The problem is lumping all anime together like it's one thing. It would be like comparing toddler toons like bluey, to teenager cartoons (teen titans), to adult ones (st: lower decks).
Shonen (adolescent target) manga/anime is by far the most popular category, but that means a lot of the set/place/characters are of teenaged nature and teenaged topics since that is what is most interesting to that aged group. A dash of sex sells (basic fanservice) and you get a highly competitive target audience in teenagers.
Even western teenager cartoons are a bit sexualized (teen titans) - just to western standards so it's less noticeable and more in our appetite.
If you apply your 10% standard to western cartoons as a whole you probably fail your own test.
If you DO want to enjoy any cartoons I do think it's important to find stuff that looks interesting to you, for anime maybe getting into some of the more adult stuff, or the stuff for teens or kids that didn't do the sex sells part.
I wouldn't take this as a defense of anime - I don't even watch anymore, but just providing the context around why you see what you see.
People and their batteries though... It's a futile obsession for some. It doesn't matter how much science or logic you throw at them there's always something.
Like how fast charging hasn't for some time done like a full max rate for the entire time to keep heat within tolerances but still some people think doing the work themselves is somehow better thermal management than modern battery controllers to the point they think it will make a material difference.
It's one of those things where paying in advance is not a good idea because of how sketch it can be. And you should not use identifiable information when creating an account or paying. E.g. a good provider only accepts crypto.
The only wholesaler I'm currently aware of has been operating for 5+ years the length I've been aware of their existence. So there's definitely trustworthy providers out there. I have no idea how to research good providers since IPTV talk gets shut down every where.
The only people who need to know who the originating sources are are the wholesalers, and I'm pretty sure at that level they have a good sense of who is originating or not. Or maybe they also don't care as long as it works and the price is right.
At the individual level, you have to assume that your provider is not the originating source - that's just how it works. Discovering whether or not you are using a reseller or a wholesaler though? It should be fairly easy to tell from the services and support they offer.
Yeah sure like blacklist instead of exclusion list. I get it. Really I do. I feel like saying you're progressive instantly means you aren't - so I still won't say it.
They/them is a way to refer to anyone without making ANY assumptions about gender - because it's entirely unnecessary to do so. I don't see how calling someone who identifies as female 'they' has any affect on someone who is transgendered or specifically prefers they/them identifiers. It sounds like the intent there is that they/them is exclusive for transgender...which as of this time I can't agree with.
If it's done intentionally to disparage trans allies then sure - that makes good sense - but this clearly wasn't done in bad faith.
Generally speaking, you have your wholesaler who sells to individuals or to other iptv resellers (eg. bulk discount of monthly subs).
A wholesaler will generally pay monthly to other source stream providers from a variety of sources to create a full catalogue of channels to provide to individuals and resellers. The wholesaler usually does the EPG management also - basically sources EPG from a variety of data sources.
So UK channels might come from one source, Canadian channels from other, some channels are on this cable provider, others on another - could be different sources. These sources are people who buy cable/satelite set top boxes and subscriptions to then stream them to the wholesalers.
A source might sell to 100+ wholesalers, and then those wholesalers will have 1000+ of subscribers each.
Generally, don't subscribe with a re-seller...it's your best chance that you'll have to find a new subscription. You'll get the best support at wholesale and they hang around longer, although being bigger makes them targets for raids or even to close up shop and take all future subscription money.
This is so dumb you should defed with Blahaj in principle. I don't even use this instance but it's kinda pathetic that you guys have to deal with this.
Apparently defending oneself from attacks in a discussion is "aggression". No consequences for the others in that thread I assume.
It's also completely insane that the use of "they" to refer to anyone would be soft transphobia. That's one of the main purposes of that word - especially on the internet. Some languages don't even have he/she it's literally just THEY in their language e.g Tagalog has 'sila' for singular 'they' and 'sha' for plural they. There is no he/him/her/she in that language.
Lol the entire enterprise crew needs some deep therapy after all the traumatic shit they deal with on the daily. The most unrealistic part of that show was how none of them became became grizzled after 10 years of life altering experiences and losses though they often showed others who did. I want to assume they had access to more than troi and just didn't show it because an entire crew probably couldn't be supported by one therapist similarly to how whichever physical health doctor on board had lots of help and even other doctors.
