Man as someone who named themselves Album because i am a fan of Albums as a piece of art - I do NOT agree. Illmatic is one of the best albums ever made, no challenge - but it's an odd take to try to frame it as one of the last. Super narrow view. I'm not even entirely convinced that Albums are "dead" though they're certainly less popular than they once were. It's also important to remember that LP/Albums were not always popular either.
Isn't that the whole point? But no to the latter question. Your shoes rub your toes but you probably forget about it after a while. Ever wear sandals? There's comfy pairs and uncomfy pairs.
Damn ppl are hella upset and somehow made this 2500 year old quote from the Buddha political.
The context of 'desire' for this Buddhist quote relates to the desire of ignorant things like a fancy car and not thoughtful desire like wanting better material conditions for all.
There are separate terms for this type of desire which are lost in translation.
Additionally I'd say the comic really over simplifies it because it's trying to be clever but basically it's saying the happiness is right in front of you and your ignorant desires are blocking you from reaching it. Meanwhile the path to enlightenment and even not desiring ignorant things is a long path.
It makes just as much sense as most popular vpns. The main difference is you know you don't trust Google. Do you think something like nordvpn is any different? There's no guarantee for what they're doing either.
The original post is playing the victim card. A classic manipulative tactic.
Other people engaged because that's how manipulation works. I almost engaged before I recognized that I was being manipulated into defending a position on a premise I don't even agree with.
Once you recognize the patterns of manipulative behaviour it becomes easier to stop yourself from engaging. Manipulative people depend on people who can't identify the bullshit.
The other reply to me was also clearly someone trying to manipulate me by saying I say/think/implied things that I didnt. Always best not to engage.
This is the most NPD post ever trying to make this comparison. People with disabilities or mental disorders that hurt people when unmanaged SHOULD be treated differently. No it's not the same thing as ensuring blind or people in wheel chairs can get around without assistance or making sure people with autism get job opportunities.
There was no damage or disruptions so it wasn't terrible by any means.
It's definitely a rare event for the north eastern coast of north america.
I've never felt an earthquake, sometimes you can feel a 2.0 where we live - a little rumble.
So having a full on 4.8 is noteworthy because it's rare, novel, and many people did not know what was happening until it had passed. I was worried my house would be damaged from it but i don't think anything even fell off the shelves.
Tri state news typically ignores Jersey for anything that crosses state lines because it's all based out of NYC or Philly. Like there is no NBC NJ we piggy back off one of the other cities.
Don't give people your solution and ask them how to do it. Start with your problem out of the gate.
Instead of checking for audio maybe you can write a usescript to run actions based on what's happening on the website. Dunno tho cuz Im making assumptions at what the problem is.
I loved that stuff but never got to buy anything really. Probably for the best it was all junk in the end. Stuff that looked cool but you didn't need any of it really.
Lets all agree to disagree
