Look, in today's world the entire banking sector relies on private communications to operate using the Internet. Why can't private citizens get the same?

I was so scared of high school final reports because of this movie. I thought they had to be on stage in front of the entire school.

I'm the same way with Schitt's Creek. Just something about it makes me have happy naps.

The American ambassador to Canada is a grade F bullshitter and having him be the ambassador is yet another insult to Canada by the US government. There are many examples of his bullshit from when he was the ambassador to the Netherlands.

Same with me. They just embody relaxation and good times. Makes me smile when I hear steel drums.

I grew up religious and one time prayed for a friend who was going to go though a couple of surgeries and would have to eat through a straw for a few months. I prayed that I could take some of the pain for him if needed. Turned out that I had a small accident and got my first stitches the next day and my friend was able to avoid additional months of recovery because the surgeon was able to do both operations at once. I took that as a sign that my prayer had worked and believed more strongly in God. For a while until I realized that coincidences can happen and that believing in God is pretty stupid.

Reminds me of Alcatraz vs The Evil Librarians. The main character's talent was breaking things. Takes a while for them to turn it into something other than just a curse.

Just to show the scope of talents in the book, the main character's grandfather was late to everything. Someone shooting at him? He'd arrive too late and the bullets would miss.

Doesn't matter to the suits, but it matters to the people who actually create the content.

There's also Groovy. A data execution pipeline program I use called NextFlow uses Groovy based scripts.

And compiling for different architectures can be very difficult. I've done a lot of work Power9 computers and it's not as simple as having the right compiler flags. Often the dependencies aren't built for your platform either so you have to go and compile those too. It can be quite a hassle.

I just saw this post before reading your comment about being touchy-feely with the ground. haha
