As long as they keep their standard of living the same as before they retired, a lot of them can ignore prices. Doesn't mean they're buying a new car every month...

If you can't afford a yacht on $250k/year (after tax) then you need help budgeting, or it's just not a priority. You might not be able to afford multiple houses AND a yacht, but a normal house and a yacht should be possible. Or your could replace the yacht with a couple lambos...

I don't think qualified immunity affects civil suits like wrongful death. AFAIK it only covers criminal charges like murder.

Just knowing how to use Google/ddg/etc to search for a solution to your problem makes you better at troubleshooting than most people. Spending 30 seconds to find a relevant link can make you seem like a genius to a lot of people.

Yep, the DNC is a private organization and can mostly operate however they want. The real problem is the duopoly between the 2 parties that prevents any real progress. As long as each party control roughly half of the government they will keep fighting to maintain the status quo.

If you have a spare pci-e port you can get a card that adds a USB controller. Some m.2 ports also have a pci-e channel you could use with an adapter.

Only 190 showed up to vote, out of 300. Keep in mind the military had declared the parliament session illegal and soldiers were ordered to arrest anyone participating. IIRC only 18 or so of the 190 who showed up to vote were from the conservative party.

One way to tell is that people don't get denied medical care because they don't have insurance, they get denied care because the hospital doesn't think they'll be able to pay. It doesn't matter to the hospital if the money comes from insurance or out of the patients pocket. Unlike most patients, this guy can afford 7 figure medical bills.

Hard to find a way to make a living without supporting an unethical agenda, unfortunately.
